It’s taken me several days of wrangling before I earred this website to the ground. It’s still rough and clunky. I’m not entirely sure which one of us ended up on top. If this were a rodeo, I’m pretty sure I finished outside of the money. Oh well. It’s progress, of a sort.
The thing of it is, I don’t speak “code.” I can’t tell a widget from a plug-in. I’m still trying to get the same color to show all the way through the site, but I couldn’t find the spot where I’m supposed to do it, and then when I did stumble upon it, I couldn’t remember the color. It’s not like I could pick “red” or “blue” or “green.” My color selection looks more like: “3ad7g49.” You think this would be easier.
But something worth doing seldom comes easily.
Patience is a virtue. This means it doesn’t come naturally. It requires work. It requires concentration. It requires falling on your face but getting up and trying again. And again. And again. And again.
And again.
Dear Lord, You are the One I try to base my actions on. I try so hard to be more like You. But I fail. Time and again, I miss You by a mile. Please give me the strength, and the patience, to stand up once more and to try again.
I ask this in Jesus’s Precious Name, Amen
